Pin Down Your Accessibility Problems

I had the pleasure of working on a couple of projects with Shawn at my current job. One of them was to create and present e-Learning videos that were developed for the federal client. Shawn blew me away with his presentation skills. He is so engaging, energetic, and really knows the material inside and out. He is very good at giving real life examples that people can relate to and that keeps the audience’s attention. The presentations were a big hit with the federal client and received a lot of positive feedback. If you are in need of accessibility training in your organization, I would highly recommend Shawn! We wanted to scale distance education accessibility training across a large multi-college district, but needed advanced training and help figuring out what it would look like. I was lucky to connect with Shawn after a long and unsuccessful search for support with PDF document accessibility remediation. The work I do involves partnership with people with visual barriers. I wanted to ensure the documents I create are truly accessible. I came across Shawn via YouTube and I was very impressed by his video tutorials. It is rare for me to see experts in this field demonstrate document reviews with screen readers, but this is something Shawn does! When I connected with Shawn he knew exactly what my document issues were and he taught me how to fix them. He was so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. His passion for accessibility is evident in the work he does.
